Preventive Maintenance Module

The preventive maintenance (PM) module in Web Work is extremely powerful and flexible. PM schedules can be created by calendar period or based on “meter” readings. PMs can have rules such as “next due” or “closed PM work order” to create fixed or moving schedules. You can use the built-in calendar functions to alter schedules and change frequencies according to manpower or other considerations. Detailed reports may be written that allow for varying PM frequencies based on usage or redundant work.

Click for larger image. Attached to each PM is a procedure that is called at the time of generation from the procedure library. The procedures are up-dated dynamically from the closing work order information so when called at the next PM generation the tasks, materials, labor an tools reflect a more accurate estimate of costs and time.

Override dates allow for PMs to be “pushed” out of the system before due dates and detailed accounting information can be established on the PM before the work order is generated. PMs may also be “inactivated” to allow for times when they need not be performed such as winter or summer schedules.

With the PM module you can:

  • Create any Maintenance Schedule
  • Schedule by Days, Weeks, Months or Years
  • Full Support for Meter Based PMs
  • Assign Locations and/or Equipment
  • Use Template Procedures on PM
  • Use Built-in Calendar for Scheduling
