Reports Module
Web Work contains two built-in web based reporting tools.
Standard Reports
Web Work contains many standard reports most commonly used by our clients. The reports have various filters or parameters that can be set by the user. Standard reports are developed for customers during implementation or as special requests. As these reports are produced they are integrated into the Web Work system and delivered with every new release.
Custom Report Writer
Arguably one of the most powerful features in Web Work is
the 100% web based custom report writer. The multi-table user defined report writer allows users to create web-based reports for individual users and modules within Web Work. Custom reports can be written on any database table(s) and filtered, sorted, grouped, etc. in any fashion required to produce a report that exactly meets the users requirements.
The custom report writer is extremely easy to use and allows each user to create their own custom reports. The reports may be published for every user or kept “private” for the report creator. |

Whether developed using the standard or custom report writer, all reports are 100% web based and developed through the web browser interface.
Web Work is available for industry standard databases including: MS Access, SQL Server and Oracle. Any third party reporting tool that supports ODBC type connections to these databases may also be used to create custom reports. The table structure of Web Work is easily followed and the field names are coded as laid out on the Web Work screens for easy report development.
As a true Microsoft compatible product, Web Work supports most of the built-in features available through the web browser including copy/paste/save as, etc. This allows users to create one or more reports in Web Work then copy the data into any other Microsoft product such as Excel. A user can create extremely powerful reports by extracting data from multiple Web Work reports.
